The CGDB has received a 800 000 euro grant from NWO t o initiate a programme aimed at attracting excellent PhD students and finding an optimal match between selected students and PhD projects W i t h as a b o n u s , a p e r s o n a l g r a n t for the t o p 4 students.

What we offer The CGDB Graduate Rotation Programme that is funded through this grant is a novel way for talented and motivated Life Sciences students to find the right PhD position During an 8 week period, students rotate through 4 CGDB labs of their choice to become acquainted with the schools research programme the participating research groups and the available PhD projects Students who successfully complete these rotations will find a PhD position in one of the participating groups In addition, the top 4 students are awarded a personal NWO grant fora PhD position in the research group of their choice Who you are Are you a highly motivated, (almost) graduated Life Sciences student with an interest in the research performed in the groups affiliated with the CGDB research school' Then this programme offers you the unique chance to find the PhD position that best fits your interests and ambitions Who we are The CGDB is composed of research groups at the University Medical Center Utrecht, the Hubrecht Institute and Utrecht University It is one of the top biomedical research schools in the Netherlands performing high quality research of international standards The school offers a competitive PhD training programme and provides an excellent scientific atmosphere and infrastructure
