K Thomas, medical superintendent van het St. George's Mission Hospital in Punalur, P.O., Travancore, S. India een schrijven dd. 12th., August, 1953, dat ons belangrijk genoeg lijkt om hieronder af te drukken : „Dear Prof. Lindeboom, I wish to introduce myself to you as a Christian Medical Practitioner in charge of the above Mission Hospital, an active member of the Christian Medical Association of India and an associated member of the Xtian Medical Society of U.S.A. I read your article „The Free University in Amsterdam and Its Medical Faculty" published in Geloof en Wetenschap dated September, 1952. The article has stimulated great interest in me to have relationship with christian doctors in foreign lands. I am desirous to have christian Fellowship with some doctors in your place and I request you to kindly send me correct addresses of some good christian doctors of your place who really desire to have fellowship with me in India. I also request you to kindly send me the English edition of your Free University Quarterly and also other papers connected with your programme of work to organize an international relationship of Doctors. I shall be extremely thankful to you for all your help which lapse of time cannot wipe away from my memory. With kindest regards, Yours Very Truly IN HIM (w.g. T. K. Thomas) Hon. De (einde 1952) afgetreden secretaris onzer Vereniging, Drs Nijenhuis, ontving een dergelijk briefje van D r Thomas. — Het zou o.i. toe te juichen zijn, als enkele onzer arts-leden zich met D r Thomas in verbinding stelden, ev. na voorafgaand overleg met Lindeboom of Nijenhuis. BUITENLANDSE CONTACTEN (VI). Nog een reactie op het z.g. Internationale nummer van ,,Geloof en Wetenschap" in de jaargang 1952, een brief, die Prof. Lindeboom ontving : ' November 1, 1953. Dear Sir, I thank you very much for your letter of August 19. How I am very happy to say that we could receive the package of Faith and Science last month. I thank you again for your kindness about the money of the package, but as we could already pay it, please set your mind at ease about that. Our members are very glad to know the activities of the christian doctors in many countries from the journal and we hope that we can continue our friendship and good understanding by Jesus Christ for ever.
