PROBLEMS

1. Be ready always. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope thas is in you with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3 :15 2. Fray for the working of the Holy Spirit. 3. Remember that the Bible itself gives the greatest comfort. 4. Tell the patient the truth; accentuate the hopeful but be careful not to give false hope. 5. When pain fights against his interest and concentration, pray for his clarity of mind; when he is unable to read for himself, quote Scripture for him. Give him your own testimony and possibly testimonies of others. 6. There is a tendency, especially with the chronically ill, to shun witnessing because it is not the primary responsibility of the physician. However, every patient should be witnessed to, preferably early in the morning. Internes and residents should be sure to get the attending physician's permission. SUGGESTED 1. 2. 3. 4.
